L'Arc~en~Ciel - A famous Japanese band in Paris

As part of their 20th anniversary, the Japanese rock band l'Arc~en~Ciel aka Laruku did a concert in Paris a few days ago. It is the second time they go to Paris.

The fans were very pleased to welcome this legendary band famous throughout the world.

It is rare for a Japanese Band to come to France. First of all because the medias are quite reluctant to talk about Asian music. However the number of fans and people who like the band ultimately overcome the media barrier. Around 6000 people were there to clap their hands and enjoy the show.

All the members of the band even learned some French for the occasion. Here is a video of Hyde, lead singer speaking some French. He is actually saying : "Amusez-vous bien!" which means "have fun!".

The atmosphere was dreamy, love was in the air.
People were smiling. People were happy.
